Continue the ministries that started 86 years ago, by Sister Aimee Semple McPherson. Aimee had been a missionary to China and is the founder of the International Church of Foursquare Gospel. She dedicated the church to be multi-ethnics and interdenominational for worldwide evengelism, bringing the love of Jesus Christ in very tangible ways. Foursquare Gospel Church has grown from one church in 1923 that started in Los Angeles, into an International Church with a total approximate 57,700 churches around the world. International Church of Foursquare Gospel is now in 145 countries, and it has helped more than 10 million people.Foursquare Church has about 40 Chinese gathering places worldwide; and in October, 2007, we started the Foursquare Chinese Ministry Association.Association has eight Chinese churches in the North America. We also has Chinese churches in Hong Kong, Malaysia, and Taiwan, plus we have many ministries and connections in Mainland China. In October, 2007, the Association hold the first ICFG Chinese Ministry Conference in Kaohsiung, Taiwan. Since then, we decided to have a bi-annual international conference. Decision of next conference be held in October, 2009 in Kuala Lumpul, Malaysia. The second Foursquare Chinese Ministries Conference was successfully held in Kuala Lumpul, Malaysia in 2009 from October 6~9. There were approximate 100 leaders from 8 different regions around the world to participate this event. The keynote speakers included Rev. Jonathan Hall, George Butron, and Kreisler Lee. In the country representatives meeting, we discussed major agenda and elected five interim officers. A decision of third conference will be held in Jakarta, Indonesia in October 2011.
